One of the most enjoyable part of life is food, a delicious meal. Food comforts us, and when shared with loved ones makes us to feel happy. I love to cook, and I love to eat, of course. Who doesn’t, right?
So today, I’ve decided to share one of my favorite recipes “Skillet Salmon with Blue Cheese & Dill”.
This is what you need:
1 lb salmon (wild caught better)
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
Canola cooking spray
zest & juice of 1 lemon (organic better because of zest)
Blue cheese dressing
2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
Coat the salmon with the salt and pepper. Coat the iron skillet well with the cooking spray and place it on medium high heat. When the skillet is hot, place the salmon (skin side up) in it and sear it for 2-3 min until golden brown. Reduce the heat to medium low, cover and cook for 3-4 min more. Flip the salmon, reduce the heat to low and cook for 4-5 min more. When done transfer the salmon to a serving dish, zest with lemon and 1/2 lemon juice. Top with blue cheese dressing and sprinkle with chopped fresh dill.
